Meridian, Idaho nonprofit farm

Bloom and Breathe Foundation

A regenerative farm where youth and young adults facing mental health challenges find peace through horticultural therapy, gain work and life skills through mentorship, and build confidence while serving the community.

First farm phase

Lavender is the first field, not the whole story.

The lavender field gives the foundation a calm and beautiful starting point: rows to plant and tend, sensory grounding for participants, meaningful work for volunteers, and a visible place where the healing mission can begin to take root.

Our charitable purpose

Healing through nature. Growth through mentorship. Service through food.

Bloom and Breathe Foundation exists to provide charitable mental health support, horticultural therapy, mentorship, job readiness, and community food production through a safe, structured farm environment.

Horticultural Therapy Program

Guided farm and garden activities help participants slow down, practice care, build routines, and experience the steady confidence that comes from nurturing living things.

Youth Mentorship Program

Mentors work alongside youth and young adults in a calm outdoor setting, offering encouragement, accountability, and practical support as participants grow.

Regenerative Farming & Food Production

Participants learn soil health, composting, planting, harvesting, and sustainable growing practices while helping provide fresh food for the community.

Life Skills Training

Farm-based work builds communication, teamwork, reliability, problem solving, and confidence that participants can carry into jobs, school, and daily life.

Why it matters

A peaceful farm can become a bridge back to confidence.

Anxiety, depression, isolation, and life transitions can make the future feel far away. On the farm, progress is tangible: a lavender row prepared, a seed planted, a harvest shared, a skill practiced, a mentor showing up again.

  • Nature-based mental health support for youth and young adults
  • Mentorship rooted in patience, dignity, and practical skill-building
  • Regenerative farming that strengthens soil and serves neighbors
  • Community food production with a charitable, public benefit purpose
